| Bob Garfield is host of the NPR show “On The Media”.
He is also the author of a variety of books about advertising and the
media including his latest: “The Chaos Scenario”. It’s an entertaining
book which discusses how social media has changed the nature of media

| Peter May is the author of a number of books including
“Virtually Dead”, one of the first novels set in SL. It’s a thriller
that spans RL and SL and will be fun reading for SL residents who

| Jeff Barr may be more familiar to many SL residents as
his SL avatar Jeffronius Batra. He is Amazon’s Web Evangelist, and now
he has written a book about hosting Web sites in the cloud using
Amazon’s Web Services. This will be one of his first opportunities to

| Sarah Susanka is a renowned RL architect and is the
author of a number of books about creating and remodeling houses to
make them fit our lives. She also has a book that uses architecture as
a metaphor for the way we live our lives. SL residents interested in
architecture and design are likely to be interested in what she has to
say as are those who are just interested in being mindful about the

| Douglas Rushkoff will be familiar to many SL residents
as a result of his work on the Digital Nation program recently shown
on PBS. He is also the author of a number of books including “Life
